Performing arts classes for 4-6 year
Early Stages for 4-6 year olds
Kids are never too young to start gaining skills for life
Early Stages is for younger children aged 4-6 years and is designed to introduce kids to StageCoach. Developed specifically to enhance the learning, development and creativity of young people, giving them a safe environment to grow and stretch themselves. Each child becomes more confident, socially aware and can discover their full potential in small class sizes (maximum 15), while having lots of fun and making new friends.
In the Early Stages classes kids learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so when it is time to transfer to the next stage it proves an easy step. This happens when a child is 6 or 7 years old, depending on individual circumstances of the child.
Lasting for 1.5 hours, the Early Stages class is split in to three 30 minute sessions, where kids learn performing arts skills through singing, dancing and drama classes:
Singing classes
Kids get the opportunity to develop rhythm and timing, improving diction. Learning popular show songs, children identify where their voices come from and how sounds are made and formed.
Dance classes
Kids improve coordination, balance and spatial awareness, while developing strong motor skills through their dance class. Working in a group, children learn fun and simple contemporary routines.
Parents receive individually written reports on their child's progress twice a year.
Drama classes
Young kids get to stretch their imagination, experimenting with words, through role play and improvisation. In themed and
fantasy worlds and through storytelling kids can express themselves physically and emotionally, learning new words phrases while memorizing lines through repetition. Interacting with others in the group, they learn vital social skills such as giving, taking and sharing.
