Principal - Barbara Price - BA Business Communications
Barbara began her studies in the Radio, TV and Film department of Temple University in Philadelphia. She completed her degree at Allentown College with a BA in communications. Among her many achievements, Barbara completed a season of summer stock in Pittsburgh, PA and then made her way to the Big Apple where she performed in several off Broadway shows. Barbara's love of theater is equal to her love of radio, TV and film and when opportunity knocked she took her talents to the Pocono Mountains and was hired as the theater critic for WPCN radio.
Barbara directed and performed in the Murder Mystery genre of theatre where she became quite well known in the recurring role of Sister Bruno.
Dance Coach - Emily Weitzel
Emily Weitzel earned her Master of Education in Dance from Temple University and holds a BA in Theatre Arts with a Minor in Dance from Drew University. Emily has been teaching dance to children since 2005 and has won awards for her choreography. Emily is passionate about teaching dance to children and is looking forward to being part of StageCoach.
Singing Coach - Katy Gentry
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Katy Gentry, soprano, received her B.A. in Music from Haverford College and completed her M.M. in Voice Performance as well as a Professional Studies Certificate at Temple University. As an active classical singer, Katy's operatic roles include Mimi (La Boheme), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and Micaela (Carmen). A fan of musical theater as well, her favorite musical theater roles include Mother Abbess (The Sound of Music), Mary Bailey (A Wonderful Life), and Bird Girl (Seussical). In 2010, Katy co-founded Poor Richard's Opera, one of Philadelphia's newest chamber opera companies. Katy also leads the choral outreach workshops in Philadelphia elementary public schools and directs the Cherub Choir at Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr.
Drama Coach - Craig Hutchings
Craig is a New Jersey native who has worked with Jr. High and High School theater students for 7 years. He directs the theater program for The Kings Christian School and runs the theater program for the JCC camps in Medford. Craig worked with Steppenwolf Theater Company in Chicago where he also studied acting.
He has directed locally for Haddonfield Plays And Players, The Scottish Rite Theater, and The Ritz Theater. Some favorite acting roles include Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes" Sir Galahad in "Spamalot" and Aldolpho in "The Drowsy Chaperone" Ernst Ludwig in "Cabaret" and Don Carney in "Biloxi Blues."
Early Stages Coach - Renee Chambers-Liciaga
Renee's professional career spans over 25 years and 12 countries working with such legends as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mercedes Ellington, Donny Osmond and the late Michael Jackson. Renee's' Performance credits are the Broadway/National and International Companies of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Starlight Express, West Side Story, Smokey Joes Cafe and Dream Girls to name a few. Stage Direction and Choreographic credits include; Smokey Joes Cafe, Ragtime, Les Miserables, High School Musical, Beauty and the Beast , Easter Drama Musicals as well as Corporate shows for TD Bank, Guardian life Insurance, Audi, MTV. Renee along with Husband Peter and their two children continue to stay active in the Industry doing, Movies, Commercials and Seminars in the tri-state area. Mrs. Chambers Liciaga Trained at the Pennsylvania Ballet, University of the Arts and was a Musical Theater Major/International Business Minor at Adelphi University.
