This Fall our Main School students (ages 6-16) have been working on the theme "Ready to Rock" and are gearing up to present their end of term presentation, so put on your blue suede shoes and let's dance!

"Ready to Rock" is an original show that encompasses the history of Rock and Roll from the 1950's to present day, and how rock and pop music have influenced the Broadway musical. The show is narrated using quotes from famous rockers, music producers, and icons of Rock in each decade, underscored with rock music and musicals such as Grease, Hair, The Wiz, RENT, Green Day's American Idiot, and Footloose. Original scenes as well as scenes from HighSchool Musical and the 1980's television series "Family Ties" will be presented.

The student presentation will be on December 10, 2011 at Benilde St. Margaret's School auditorium, 2501 Hwy 100 South, at 4pm. If you would like more information about coming to see the presentation contact Principal Terrie Coats at 952-367-6032.
