The Mainstage camp at StageCoach is for students ages 8-16. Students are placed in appropriate age groups and take acting, singing and dance classes Monday through Friday, and also work as a whole company on a musical. The entire process of auditioning, casting, rehearsals, and costuming are part of this week of musical theatre immersion. Students present their musical on Friday to parents, family, and friends.

This summer students will be donning fedoras in the classic musical, Guys & Dolls Jr.! Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, GUYS AND DOLLS JR. introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the musical theatre canon: Sarah Brown, the upright "mission doll,"; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, a nightclub performer whose chronic flu is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiance, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating dice game.

Juniors Camps are for students ages 6-7 years of age. The camps are cotaught by two teachers, and students enjoy working on a musical as well as other activities throughout their day. This summer our Juniors will work on the musical revue "Broadway Beat". Do you hear that beat? It's the sound of people entering the theater on the most famous street in the world. It's the sound of dancing feet and orchestras tuning up. It's the sound dreams are made of. It's the sound of Broadway! Celebrate musical theatre with hits from Hairspray, The Music Man, The King and I, Wicked, Rent and Grease, and a medley of favorites from George M. Cohan! This musical features kid-friendly vocal arrangements and fun facts about Broadway. Students present their musical to family and friends on the final day of camp (Friday).

Mini-Camps are designed for our 4-5 year old students. The program is in it's 2nd season and is modeled after our successful Early Stages program that runs during the school year, as well as the format of the Juniors camps. Two experienced teachers co-teach two half day sessions, or you can enroll your child for both sessions (full day) at a discounted rate (includes a supervised lunch and recess time)! Our Mini-Campers spend their time engaged in acting, singing and dance activities organized around a central theme. Art activities related to the theme are also part of their day. The morning and afternoon sessions will present one presentation of their work on Friday, the final day of camp. Register now online!
