Our School

What is StageCoach?

Founded in 1988 with three schools in Surrey, Stagecoach now has more than 600 Schools in the UK alone and others in Australia, Canada, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Spain, and the USA. In all, Stagecoach trains over 35,000 students and is the world's largest part-time theatre school.

StageCoach Theatre Arts St Paul was started by US Co-Founder Simon McAllister in 1999 and has been running successfully since then. The school started with one main school and one Early Stages. Currently there are two main schools (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) for 6 - 16 year olds, one Early Stages program for 4 - 6 year olds and one Further Stages program for 15 - 18 year olds.

While at StageCoach a student will experience many aspects of the performing world including but not limited to technique building in all areas of dance, singing and acting; team building; presentational skills; imaginative expression; and creative thinking. And the best part is that they all have fun reaching their goals.

Every term students work towards a 'goal' along with their technique skills. The goals may be student created or scripted shows. Some previous term goals include musical presentations of Annie Jr., 100 Years of Broadway, and Dear Edwina Jr,. Other terms have focused on audition skills, student written shows based on themes of change, history, Dr. Seuss and more.

A StageCoach student is a well rounded individual who surprises themselves and their audience with what they are able to achieve. StageCoach skills are for life.
