Principal - Natalie Arneson - BA Musical Theatre, Guildford School of Acting
Natalie graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in England with a BA in Musical Theatre. While overseas, she played Princess Jasmine opposite Britt Eklund and Issy van Randwick in the pantomime Aladdin, toured England and Germany as Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, and played Cunegonde in Candide. She has worked extensively in her native Houston, with credits at the Alley Theatre (A Christmas Carol, Much Ado About Nothing), Houston Grand Opera (Manon Lescaut, La Cenerentola), Arneson Productions (Side Show), Bayou City Concert Musicals (Follies, Fiorello), Houston Shakespeare Festival (The Tempest), Main Street Theater (Nine, Lady in the Dark), among others.

Natalie has extensive experience in several teaching disciplines, including ballet, tap, jazz, singing, acting, and stage combat. Her career as an actress has expanded into that of director and choreographer of many children's musical theater performances.

Her relationship with StageCoach began in 2003 in the UK, where she taught EarlyStages and Dance for the Bracknell, Wokingham and Reading locations until 2005. After a year as the Singing teacher in Brooklyn Heights Natalie assumed ownership of the Upper East Side location in 2011. She looks forward to sharing her love of performance with your children!
Dance Coach - Alison Mixon - BFA Dance, The Juilliard School
Alison Mixon's (Shaker Heights, OH) passion for dance began as a scholarship student at the School of Cleveland San Jose Ballet, School of American Ballet, Chautauqua Institution, and Alonzo King's LINES Ballet School. In 2003, she graduated with a B.F.A. from The Juilliard School. Her performance credits include: Dance Flick, The Wiz, Carmen, The Merry Widow, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Can Can, Aida and Aladdin: The Musical Spectacular. In addition to performing, Ms. Mixon enjoys teaching dance for Alvin Ailey Arts in Education & Community Programs, Harlem School of the Arts, Columbia Performing Arts Centre, and New Dance Group. Ms. Mixon also judges for Celebrity Dance Competitions and Beyond The Stars Dance Competitions nationwide. Singing Coach - Jeff Theiss - BME Voice, Baylor University MM, Ithaca Collge
Jeff Theiss is an active musical director, conductor, coach, and pianist in regional theaters across the country. Originally from Houston, Mr. Theiss has most recently musical directed Joseph...Dreamcoat at the Miracle Theater in Tennessee and I Love You, You're Perfect...at Florida Studio Theater in Sarasota. He was also music director for Broadway Memories, a cabaret of favorite songs of two veteran Broadway performers, Brad Little and Barbara McCulloh at the Granbury Opera House in Dallas. In November of 2010, Mr. Theiss was the assistant conductor for a reading of Treasure Island: A New Musical at the Manhattan Theatre Club, which is currently scheduled for a workshop in the Fall of 2011. Also this Fall, Jeff is excited to be working on the new Broadway musical Lysistrata Jones, where he will serve as a standby conductor. This past summer, Jeff returned to the Merry Go Round Playhouse in Auburn, NY for his fourth season as Assistant Music Director where his duties include pianist, arranger, and orchestrator. He is also active throughout the year as a guest teacher and artist at the collegiate level. In March, he conducted SUNY Cortland's production of The Drowsy Chaperone and has given master classes and workshops at Vincennes University in Indiana, as well as his alma mater, Ithaca College. He received his BME in Voice from Baylor University and his MM in Conducting from Ithaca College.
Drama Coach - Michael Schwartz - BA Theatre, University of Southern California
Michael is a New York based teacher, acting coach, and director. He started doing community theatre at age 5 and, many years later, trained at the USC Schools of Theatre and Cinema/Television in Los Angeles, as well as the British American Drama Academy in London. Theatre Directing credits includes Lost Cause (Old Vic Theatre, London) Basement Pinter (A.C.T., also curated), 2nd Annual Tommy Awards (Skirball Center, also produced/choreographed), 1st Annual Tommy Awards (New World Stages, also produced/choreographed), More Than Abel (Magic Theatre, also wrote, acted in), Lying Naked (Planet Connections, Winner: Best Short Play), Claw Of The Schwa (Midtown Int'l Theatre Festival, Winner: Best Short Play), Mind Control (Sam French Festival), Punk: A New Musical (The Players Theatre) and The Shape Of Things (Massman Theatre, also produced). Assistant Directing credits include Company (NY Philharmonic), The Homecoming (A.C.T.), Sunday In The Park With George (Roundabout/Studio 54, Asst Choreographer) and Gilgamesh (Theatre @ Boston Court). Film credits include various shorts and independents, both in front of and behind the camera. He is a California Arts Scholar and a member of SDC, Lincoln Center Director's Lab, and Old Vic New Voices.
Early Stages Coach - Lisa Clair
Lisa Clair is a New York based performer, playwright and teaching artist. She has taught drama for the past decade all over the country including at Brooklyn Heights Montessori School,The JCC Maccabi Arts Fest and the Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis. Lisa attended Bard College, performed for many years with the Tony Award winning Theatre de la Jeune Lune and studied Clown and physical Theater in Locarno, Switzerland. She was most recently seen performing in The Assassins Chase Pinocchio with Immediate Medium.
